Experience the vibrant energy and expressive storytelling of Bongsan Mask Dance (Bongsan Talchum), one of Korea’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage traditions.

Presented at Asia Pacific Cultural Center, this immersive workshop introduces participants to the rich history, symbolism, and artistic spirit behind this dynamic mask dance drama. Through guided instruction, you will explore the meaning of the masks, foundational movements, music, and performance structure that define this centuries-old tradition .

Open to community members of all backgrounds who are interested in Korean culture, the workshop blends cultural education with hands-on practice in a supportive, small-group setting.

Participants will build skills over the course of the program and culminate their experience with a final performance in APCC’s main auditorium, with invited guest including Consul Generals and VIPs.
