Bokator Martial Arts Workshop
Two Powerful Evenings with a Grandmaster and Gold Medalist
Hosted by the Asia Pacific Cultural Center

Workshop Fee: $45 per person for both days
This is an exceptional value for two evenings of instruction from world-class masters traveling from Cambodia.

Step into a rare and inspiring experience as the Asia Pacific Cultural Center welcomes Grand Master Seng Bunsong of Cambodia and SEA Games Gold Medalist Mao Leakena for a two-day Kun Lbokator workshop. This is a unique opportunity to learn an ancient Khmer martial art directly from world-class masters who are actively preserving and promoting this centuries-old discipline on the global stage.

Grand Master Seng Bunsong is internationally recognized for his work studying the carved bas-reliefs of Angkorian temples, decoding the movements of Khmer warriors etched in stone nearly 1,000 years ago. His mission — to revive these techniques and help bring Khmer martial arts to the Olympic Games — makes this workshop a rare chance to learn from someone shaping martial arts history.

Joining him is Mao Leakena, Cambodia’s first SEA Games Gold Medalist in Kun Lbokator, who brings elite athletic experience, cultural knowledge, and dynamic instruction. Her teaching blends traditional techniques with modern training, making this workshop both meaningful and accessible for beginners and experienced participants alike.

Over two engaging sessions, participants will:

  • Learn authentic Kun Lbokator techniques
  • Practice practical self-defense skills
  • Build strength, coordination, and confidence
  • Experience Cambodian cultural heritage through movement
  • Train with internationally respected instructors
  • Enjoy a fun, welcoming environment for all skill levels

This workshop is designed for youth and adults alike — whether you're interested in martial arts, fitness, culture, or simply trying something new.
